Restoring Opportunity for the Working Class Through the EITC and CDCTC

The American Enterprise Institute (AEI), the Brookings Institution and Opportunity America. October 2018. The report Work, Skills, Community: Restoring Opportunity for the Working Class examines the challenges America’s working families face and recommends bipartisan policy solutions to strengthen working-class communities. The report’s policy recommendations include expanding the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) for workers without dependent children and increasing access to the Child and Dependent Care Credit.
